The OTT NADP Pluvio all-weather weighing precipitation gauge accurately
and reliably measures liquid and solid precipitation. The superior weight-based
technology provides precise volume and intensity measurements. Internal
software filters minimize false precipitation readings caused by wind,
evaporation, and/or temperature.
The OTT Pluvio participated in a three phase performance evaluation test
conducted by the United State Geological Survey (USGS) for the National
Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP). The NADP approved the OTT NADP
Pluvio for use in their network upon completion of the tests and evaluation
of the results.
The Remote Monitoring Module (RMM) is an advanced ruggedized communication
module designed to meet NADP precipitation power and logging needs. Combining
the OTT NADP Pluvio with the RMM meets NADP Precipitation Station modernization
requirements. The RMM provides continuous power to the Pluvio Precipitation
Gauge while logging and storing data for future retrieval.

- The NADP Pluvio and RMM installs on a 2-inch pole. The RMM includes
mounting u-bolts for installing the RMM enclosure.
- The 24 VDC power supply supplied by Hach Environmental requires connection
to a 120VAC power source.
